Day 1
Day 1: Machame Gate to Machame Camp - Drive to Machame Gate (1,790m). Trek through rainforest to Machame Camp (3,010m).
Day 2
Day 2: Machame Camp to Shira Camp - Steep climb through moorland to Shira Camp (3,845m). Stunning views of Kibo Peak.
Day 3
Day 3: Shira Camp to Barranco Camp - Hike to Lava Tower (4,640m) for acclimatization. Descend to Barranco Camp (3,960m).
Day 4
Day 4: Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp - Climb Barranco Wall. Trek through Karanga Valley to Barafu Camp (4,640m).
Day 5
Day 5: Summit Day - Midnight start for summit attempt. Reach Uhuru Peak (5,895m) for sunrise. Descend to Mweka Camp (3,100m).
Day 6
Day 6: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate - Descent to Mweka Gate (1,640m). Receive summit certificates. Transfer to Arusha.
