3 Days Maasai Mara Luxury Safari

Your safari begins at 7:00 AM with pickup from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, stopping at the viewpoint for breathtaking photos of the escarpment. Continue through Maasai country, passing traditional manyattas (villages). Arrive at Mara Serena Safari Lodge in time for a gourmet lunch overlooking the plains. After a brief rest, embark on your first game drive from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM, searching for lions, elephants, and giraffes. Return to the lodge as the sun sets, painting the sky in brilliant oranges and reds. Enjoy dinner at the lodge's terrace restaurant.

Rise early for a 6:00 AM game drive when wildlife is most active. Watch the sunrise over the savannah as predators return from their night hunts. You'll have the best chance to spot lions, cheetahs, and leopards during these early hours. Return to the lodge at 9:00 AM for a hearty breakfast. Mid-morning is yours to enjoy the lodge's infinity pool, spa, or simply relax on your private terrace. After lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive from 3:30 PM, visiting the Mara River area to see hippos and crocodiles. As dusk falls, enjoy a special bush dinner under the stars, accompanied by traditional Maasai singing and dancing around the campfire.

One last early morning game drive from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM to catch any wildlife you may have missed. Return to the lodge for a final breakfast. Check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi. Optionally stop at a Maasai village for a cultural experience where you'll learn about traditional customs, see warrior dances, and visit a local homestead ($30 per person). Continue through the Rift Valley, arriving in Nairobi by 4:00 PM. Transfer to your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey.
